1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
6 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 lg eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup salted peanuts chopped
1/2 cup peanut butter chips
3oz bittersweet chocolate, in 1/2" chunks
Directions:
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9-inch square baking pan with nonstick foil, letting foil extend at two sides. Spray foil with nonstick spray.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
- In a large bowl, beat peanut butter and butter with an electric mixer on medium speed, until smooth. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar and beat until well blended. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time. Beat in vanilla. Add flour mixture and, with mixer on low speed, beat until just blended. Stir in peanuts, peanut butter chips, and chocolate. Scrape dough into prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake 35 minutes, or until a tooth-pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely on a wire rack. To serve, lift blondie from pan, using foil. Cut into 12 bars.
